The New Zealand quarantine (MAF) inspection
NZMAF Inspection New Zealand is known for spreading severe quarantine (bio-security) regulation also in the world. the purport that, as for no vehicles which enter New Zealand, the contaminant has adhered to quarantine regulation in the inner exterior of vehicles -- it is indicated. When vehicles enter New Zealand, the living thing which is what kind of quarantine risk must not exist in the vehicles. All the vehicles are clean, and in order to ensure that there is no pollution risk, inspection is undergone in accordance with the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry quarantine (following, MAFBNZ) standard. The vehicles in the state where the MAFBNZ standard is not met must receive the pollution removal work for removing a contaminant, before entering New Zealand.
* Car-body-construction (NZTA) inspection
The vehicles which enter nzta01.jpg New Zealand do not need to be concerned with export/import of for private use or the commercial purposes, but need to fulfill the conditions about specific safety. All the vehicles are recognized by the New Zealand transportation agency, and have immigration inspection completed with an organization. It has focused on whether the damage of the body has affected the safety of car body construction. For not completing this inspection, it cannot register lawfully in New Zealand. All the vehicles imported by New Zealand must receive a car registration proof (Vehicle Entry Certification) process, and this process (NZTA inspection) contains the thorough physical verification which focused on the safety performance of vehicles. Inspection is carried out by the representative of the New Zealand transportation agency. The vehicles which completed all the proof processes satisfactorily can be lawfully registered for the purpose of use of New Zealand on the street.

KEBS
wishes to notify exporters and importers of Motor Vehicle to Kenya,
that with effect from 2008.02.01 the inspection of used motor vehicles
in Japan and Dubai is undertaken by the Japan Export Vehicle Inspection
Centre Co Ltd. (JEVIC). M/S CAAC in Dubai will continue inspecting used
motor vehicles but on behalf of JEVIC. This follows the expiry of the
JAAI contract with KEBS. For further operational details and contracts
, please visit JEVIC's Website at www.jevic.co.jp
Motor Vehicles
from other countries other than the above shall continue to be
inspected by either M/s Intertek International or M/s SGS, depending on
the Zone of operation
Concerning the odometer reading on the clock, JEVIC's odometer checking will
become more stricter as from the 1st August, 2009 and the following criteria
applies. According to the announcement from JEVIC (Japan export vehicle
inspection center Co, Ltd. ), we have been advised that they will as from the
1st August 2009, make more strict checking of the odometer reading on the meter
dashboard, so any attempts of odometer tampering can be eliminated. This news
may affect to some of the used vehicle exporters here in Japan, but we Autorec
Enterprise Ltd. welcomes their decision and shall support their acts.
- In the case that the present/current odometer reading shows lower than that
of last record of Mileage, printed on the export certificate, the JEVIC refuses
its Pre-export road worthiness inspection because of doubts that the meter
reading must be tampered with. Remember; JEVIC is the inspecting
agency & company who started odometer checking to protect the customers who
actually receive the vehicles.
- In the event that the odometer dash was replaced due to defects and
breakdown of electrical failure etc, JEVIC only performs their Pre-export
inspection if the authorized franchise car dealer certifies its authentic
genuine mileage. So, the dealer's certificate of the authentic mileage is
required to JEVIC for confirmation.
is a big progress that the JEVIC has decided to put such strict rules in that
way, so as to protect the customers of Kenya against the false mileage of
vehicle supplied from the dishonest exporters/suppliers. As you remember, we
have raised this issue since sometime ago, and have been informing you of "How
to check the original mileage" on our website, so please kindly review.
Make sure that your Vehicle has done the proper Mileage!! Is
the Mileage of your vehicle Genuine?? If you want to Check your Original
Mileage, there is a way!! JEVIC (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co. Ltd
can prove the mileage!
